By contacting us we will provide the service of verifying your insurance benefits. Some of the answers that we will obtain for you are:
1. Does your policy cover acupuncture?
2. Does your coverage have any exclusions or limitations?
3. Do you have in or out-of-network coverage?
4. Do you have an annual deductible?
5. Do you have a co-payment or co-insurance?
6. Do you have an annual visit limit?
We accept cash via Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay, and Google Pay and credit cards. Cash patients can enjoy big savings by purchasing an acupuncture package. Ask our front office for further information.
Insurance
For California patients, our services are covered under most medical policies that include out-of-network acupuncture. However, it is your responsibility to pay as we go. We bill medical insurance directly for patients covered under Cigna PPO and HMO and Optum Health including United Health Care, (UHC), United Medical Resources (UMR), Prime Health Services PPO, and HMO, and more.
Each month will provide you with a super bill, with the information needed for your reimbursement. We provide in-person and telemedicine sessions. The in-person rate is $350 for the initial session of 90 minutes and $220 for follow-up sessions. Telemedicine session is $220. We offer a sliding scale for students. You must accept your appointment by email confirmation before each session and complete all the requested forms at your first session.
